People were all over facebook saying Rooney should be dropped. In short, no he shouldn't. Point 1: Rooney scored more goals in the qualifiers than any other England player Point 2: Rooney has set up more goals in 3 world cups than all other England players combined over the last 3 world cups Point 3: Rooney is the 5th highest goal scorer for England with only Michael Owen being better from the last 15 years. Point 4: As a number 10, his job is to play ahead of the midfield but behind the striker. His job is to score and to assist, he does both perfectly fine. His issue is that he is greedy however, and should never have taken the ball from Barkley and shot, however Barkley was running into 3 Italians and stood no chance at passing or shooting so Rooney did him a favour, however Rooney would have been better to pass the ball to the left and have it whipped in.

Both Honduras and France are known for their shock tactics in a game, and both play dirty when the need arises. As such it was a bit brutal. However Benzema has shown he is a force to be reckoned with this WC.

Well I know Xirrus and Aruba have only gotten better since, so they may be worth looking into. I believe @CPTLD may well supply Ruckus and Xirrus.

Dodgiest batch of officials ever...dos Santos scores 2 legitimate goals and they are ruled as offside. Not impressed at all with the result as Mexico should have won 3-0.

Are you mad? EPL is killing off English talent in replacement for foreign talent. EPL has less than 1/3 of English players in the teams, compared to Germany, Spain, Italy etc where they have around 55% of the league flooded with home grown talent. EPL (and other leagues across europe) worked best when they were limited to the amount of international players they could have in a squad. Reinstitute the Bosman rule for foreign players 3 non-domestic players + 2 assimilated players (people who have played for the team for 5 years or more, or had come through the youth team as a foreign national).

Perhaps, but I dont get a chance to go to Southampton often to watch, I only go to the north london clubs as they're the closest that are entertaining.
