Ok guys, odd one We have blocked access to settings for the standard user by default. We have a couple of users (laptop users) that want to connect to Bluetooth devices such as portable speakers etc. They can't do this because of the block on settings. Can anybody suggest any fixes/workarounds that don't involve allowing settings? Your help is much appreciated. Thanks Tech13!

When we hold down command & R and wait for the chime we get Internet Recovery and not the startup recovery with Disk Utility and terminal ect. We are installing 10.4.5 Any help or tips would be hugely appreciated. Thanks!

Hi all, We have recently started getting the following error when attempting to blacklist an application on Airwatch for iOS. An unknown error was encountered by the application search provider. Has anybody come across anything similar/seem this error before? Server has been restarted, services running etc. Thanks

Yes just since Win 10 - we have the latest drivers available installed - they are sharp MFDs same across school

I guessed from the rage across the internet..... It's local profiles that's causing the issue for us.

Thanks for getting back to me. See Event Viewer error attached. This is happening across site on multiple machines for multiple users. I had replace on originally and thought changing to update would help but no such luck.

Hi all! We have an environment of Server 2016 and Windows 10 1803 and local profiles are used. We are having an intermittent problem with printers installed through GPP. On a number of occasions when a user logs into a machine for the first time they do not get any printers installed. If they login again on that machine (local profile already created) the printer is installed. Printers are shared via UNC on GPP and are set to 'UPDATE' As you can imagine this is driving our users mad. It seems to be a bug worldwide according to forums but Edugeek usually has the answer, if possible we would like to refrain from reverting back to logon scripts etc. Any help is appreciated! Thank you

Hi all, How to people manage display scaling for users through GPO on Windows 10 1803 ? Really scratching my head now!

Good afternoon Ladies and Gents. We have had the following registry setting deployed via group policy to enable some select users (managed by security group) to manage Display scaling (Windows 10 1803) This was working perfectly until Friday this week. Nothing has changed on the system. The reg key is HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop\LogPixels Value Decimal 144 This is set to replace in GP Preferences.. Very strange any advice / help greatly appreciated!

Hi all, We have customised our start menu using Start Layout option in group policy. We have got all our shortcuts/ Chrome/ Office working fine. Whenever we try to add either File Explorer or This PC to the start menu it does not show. I have file explorer pinned via this same script onto the taskbar so I am sure of the filepath. Any help would be appreciated. Running 1803 Windows 10 Education.

Just had a look at this and it has removed the Apps perfect! Thank you. One last question, we are still having trouble removing access for Administrative Tools. Any pointers? We have run the script then created a new user. They are still visible. Thanks again it's been really helpful.

Thanks for this. Looks really useful. I have some time this PM to look into this.

Hi, Thanks for this. What script did you use to remove the Apps? Any chance of a copy? Did this remove for all users or did it have to be run per user?

Hi all, Can anybody please share their experiences with Windows 10 Start Menu management on Windows 10 Education 1803. We have configured the 'Start Layout' but having issues managing the visibility of Apps and items such as 'Administrative Tools' & 'Windows System' for limited users i.e. pupils. Can this be configured through GP? Does it have to be done pre image? Looking forward to your responses? Kind regards, Tech13
