Epping Primary School is looking for a technician to help run, manage and develop our growing technology infrastructure! We have developed an innovative curriculum that allows our children to harness modern technology in their everyday lessons. The school uses a combination of Windows computers and iPads. We are looking for a forward-looking, enthusiastic, creative person who would enjoy the challenge of solving IT issues with out of the box thinking!
The role will involve IT resource management, troubleshooting, server and network maintenance as well as some curriculum-based involvement in procuring the best for our budget!
The successful applicant will: - be familiar with working with networks and computers - understand how to manage IT resources - understand and maintain a knowledge of current hardware and software- have an ability to work within budgets.
The role would be supported by the ICT leader and an external technical advisor; training within the role can be offered.
Hours will be 15 per week (flexible days to suit), term time only.
