Hi , I would like some help please. We have setup the WSUS and pushing out Windows 10 eduction 1703 updates . Office and Windows 10 eduction . We are using the client side targeting and a GPO . The updates a reaching the Windows 10 machine and when checking the Windows update logs it show the updates are coming form the WSUS onsite server and it shows the group that it is targeting form the WSUS , which is applied on the GPO. The problem is we have set all the correct setting in the GPO to install the updates , but it does not automatically install the updates we have to manually log on to the machine and press check for updates, then it will check updates and install form WSUS. We need to be able to automate this process . We have set the GPO to 4. Instal and schedule updates, which we have set for abou 4.00pm. This is not happening can you guys please provide some advice . Hi All, Would like some please in regards to the above subject. We are having a lot of problems with My Maths to work on Edge. We have checked and enabled flash but is it still says FLASH IS NOT ENABALED. We have go through loads of sites to find out the problems and tried many things but still no. We have contact MY Maths and they say it works on Edge. I have tried at home in case the filtering is blocking , but the same problem happens at home. I would be grateful for some help and information. Thank you in advance.

Hi, can you please help me with permission on app data roaming folder redirection. the app data only redirects when we set full controller on this folder ,subfolder and full control for auth users. we don't want the auth users to have full control over folder. but if we take that away the app data folder is not created therefore no redirection. thanks in advance

Hi All, just would like some information please and advice please. we are testing Windows 10 Education and roaming profiles. we have set up the file server where all the profiles are been stored, however when we create a new user and logon them on to the domain the profile is created and works fine. The user is logged on the machine and all works fine , as soon as we log the user of and log back in the profile becomes corrupt and a message come up on windows saying your profile has not synced with server therefore you are logged on with a temporary profile. we have restarted the machine delete the profile but as soon as we try re log back into Windows 10 machine the profile becomes corrupt. we have given full permission on folder and security level for everyone and auth users. Can somebody advise on how to resolve this matter please. Thank you in advance.

Hi, Need some advice on how to deploy office 365 with mdt on windows 10 . We need to re image laptop and desktop and deploy office 365 in the processes. When they log on to the domain account they also sign into their office 365 , single sign process. The AD has been sync with AD connect and user and account are shown from the Onsite ADon office 365 online admin center. Thank you

Hi , I would some advice and information please. We would like to setup up a test lab before deploying out. We have server 2016 setup with the usually AD, DNS etc. Sharepoint server setup in our virtual environment and all joined to the domain. We would to setup office 365 education for our school. The project will involve deploying office 365 education. All the groups, users computers etc, must sync with from the AD to office 365. Is there any way we can set up a test environment and is there any guidance in this area. We are a secondary school in the uk. Thank you to all the bloggers.

Hi everyone, Just wanted share some information regarding the New My Maths VLE site & Vimeo embedded video. We had a lot problem getting the videos to work via the site while monitoring student internet usage in context of Vimeo. We use Light Speed as our internet filtering system. The problem was we didn't want to unblock Vimeo to all students but want them to access the video via My maths which are hosted on Vimeo servers. The solution was to allow this domain on light speed Vimeocdn.com, this allowed the student to via the video on My Maths while implementing a safe internet use for students. I hope post helps if you may be experiencing the same problems.

This script will be very handy when we start to mass import and deploy the machines. however, we are just in the testing phase and would like some information on how to get computer description applied via the MDT database currently, for example , the field we need to fill in the database to generate a computer description ? .

Hi everyone, I would like some information regarding MDT and database configuration. We set up the database using Microsoft 2014 SQL. Everything seems to be working as it connects to the database when we image a machine. However, the problem that we have currently is populating the database with the computer descriptions. for example , we might need set of computer for Admin and another set Teachers. We would like to insert these names in computer description one they have been deployed. How do we set this on the database ? there does seem to be field to set computer description in the MDT database. Currently we are using server 2012r2 and SQL enterprise 2014 for our project. Hi Thank you for your help so far. We have created a group in the profile manager called "student mac" under devices as you have stated. The part we are getting problems is pushes out profile manager to AD user. You say we need to create another group for AD connection can please advise on how this process is done and how it would connect back to the AD from the mac server. Thank you for all your help so far it has started to put us in the right direction.
