I would some advice and information please. We would like to setup up a test lab before deploying out. We have server 2016 setup with the usually AD, DNS etc. Sharepoint server setup in our virtual environment and all joined to the domain.

We would to setup office 365 education for our school. The project will involve deploying office 365 education. All the groups, users computers etc, must sync with from the AD to office 365.

Is there any way we can set up a test environment and is there any guidance in this area. We are a secondary school in the uk.
