Me and my team require a "user" account with no elevated rights and an admin account that is very restricted in what it has access to but enough to administer systems. Results in a lot of individual accounts for all of us but we use keeper for account management with MFA functionality within it. Been a very good investment so advocate considering something like this and introduce individual accounts.

One of the schools I oversee are just starting out on an extension to the dining area which is due to complete next summer and as part of this will be replacing the existing cashless catering system with a new one. I have been asked to provide approx. figures for a new cashless catering system that can be added as a budget line in the costings. Given the date of when this would be required to be installed and the full procurement process of speaking with suppliers, I am wondering if anyone would be willing to share some indicative pricing from systems that have been installed the past 6 months. Can DM me if prefer not to state openly on here but feel rather than engage at this time and any potential to bias a full procurement in the future, this may be the quicker and simpler method. The system we will be looking to purchase next year will have 2 cash loaders, 5 touchscreen tills and a mobile unit. Currently use finger print and MiFare cards to authenticate users and expect this to be what we use going forward as well. Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi cstreet. We have salamander running the backend process of creating the CSV in sds and can see the guardianrelationship CSV file created on our server and in the sds profile 'sync option for guardians' is enabled. On teams admin under assignments the guardian email digest is switched on and the class teams do have the setting enabled but emails aren't going out?! Any suggestions where this might be tripping up or logs to try and see what the problem is?

Hi. Could anyone who has enabled the teams parental email and has this working give some information on what the email contains? There is little online that goes in to the body of the email and what it is does (if anything). The school would like to know more about it before turning it on but I'm not able to give much back presently to what it does, looks like and so on.

Laptops bitlockered and domain joined with direct access presently. Gives staff the ability to just work anywhere Even knowing DA had been deprecated, I recently introduced to 3 schools who were still using a workgroup / single account method and not usable in school with no connection to shared drives, etc. It's blown their minds! Idea being getting the systems very similar in operation and will look at options going forward, either AO VPN or similar. Have seen some problems which had to overcome such as DA appeared to be setup but wasn't working so a re-build of the server and one user although it showed connected and fine, getting DNS issues so re-imaged the machine and resolved the problem. Have also offered some remote assistance for users through TeamViewer when not able to connect initially
