  1. Yeah I think so, I try again tonight for you.
  2. I think there were a few users having issues with that functionality in the latest build.
  3. Not really used it myself, but I know some schools have used Password Control for this. Password Control
  4. Yes, or just get the staff to do it themselves.
  5. Interesting you mention problems with password sync as I have seen similar cases with DirSync where an upgrade to Azure AD Connect has fixed the issue. There was a bug I found in DirSync years ago where the password sync option would randomly uncheck itself.
  6. I did the upgrade for a secondary school before Easter and it took around 20-30 minutes. It's a much better tool than DirSync so I'd upgrade when you get the chance. The upgrade shouldn't break your PowerShell script, I've been using the same scripts on sites with DirSync and Azure AD Connect and they work fine on both.
  7. I only game on the Xbox and I'd happily buy more digital games if they were cheaper. It's far more convenient to be able to launch any game directly from the console rather than having to mess about changing discs. What puts me off is the price of digital releases on the Xbox, I'm not going to pay the same price (or more) as a physical copy for something that I can't sell on at a later date. Most of the digital titles I own have been purchased when they have been on sale. It's a shame that some of the functionality Microsoft originally proposed got dropped. I would have really liked to have seen the ability to loan titles to people digitally and re-sell digital content.
  8. Sent you both invites, I think they can take up to 48 hours to come through.
  9. I haven't got a script on hand I can share with you, but can add your users to groups using the Add-ADGroupMember cmdlet in Powershell.
  10. Are you still looking for an invite? Let me know as I can invite you.
  11. If the console is open on a machine it isn't possible to expand the view to see the running applications, websites visited etc. as you have discovered. Rather than having to close the console down on your machine, the list of websites you have visited will be accessible from the log viewer assuming the user running the console has access to it.
  12. Rename the file metroappinterface.exe and that should resolve your issues. I can't remember the exact location of it so you'll need to do a search.
  13. Is the 'All Wales' tenancy linked to a single domain? Do you still have access to the admin portal?
  14. Looks like that issue was a bug, there is an updated version now 1.1.110
  15. It's good to see that Microsoft have finally got WMF 5.0 out the door after the issues that caused it to be pulled at the end of last year.
  16. I installed this over the top of the previous version on our test system and it worked fine. It will run through the wizard after installation so make sure you have the details for the local and cloud accounts that you use for authentication with the tool. The only issue I've noticed so far is that if I run get-adsyncscheduler the next sync time reports back as 01/01/0001, the tool appears to be synchronising correctly every half hour though!
  17. I can see why you got confused, the tool hasn't got the friendliest interface I've ever come cross. From the sounds of it you have done everything correctly, deselect the OUs you don't want to sync from your local AD and then run a full synchronisation to pull the changes through to Azure AD. Removing items from your local AD will remove them from the Azure AD, it doesn't work the other way round.
