I remember using Windows 3.11 on my first computer, a compaq with the screen built into the computer! I also remember using DOS alot to boot programs. The next operating system I used after that was Windows 98, quite a big step up, and I loved it, no more need for DOS, yay! Used that until windows XP came out, never looked back since

What's the DVD you're trying to play? Maybe those DVD's have protected content that needs a certain codec to run.

Is there currently any web filtering set up on your systems? If there is, and you have access to it, you could just block everything you don't want, or just allow a certain few pages to be viewed. If not, it's looking more and more impossible.

Could you just blacklist everything, and just whitelist the intranet?

Hi Guys I'm currently working full time at a school, but I've finished all my course work, and the NVQ is on it's way to me. I was just wondering if it's legal for me to be working after finishing being a apprentice (since I don't go to college anymore) for apprenticeship pay. Had a look around, and I can't seem to see anything. I've got a contract apparently with the school for 2 1/2 years, but i've finished a year and a half early lol. Any knowledge you guys have about this, could you let me know please? Thanks

We managed to get about 22000 with this years, and what we banked last year. We decided to order Smartboard pens with those, seeing as they are forever breaking or going missing in action. Hopefully it'll mean we'll have some spare.

Hi all I was just wondering if there was any printers out that are compatable with the Eee PC, since we're having parents keep attacking us about it. If you know of any, please let us know, as we did suggest a lexmark printer at first, then found out it only worked on XP! The EeePC's we're using are the 4G ones, with Linux installed. Thanks.
