IT Support Technician – North West London (URGENT) Salary – Up to £19,750 - initial fixed term 12 months Our client, an academy in North West London are currently looking for an IT Support Technician with a proven record of IT support, to join their current team in which you will maintain, develop and support the provision of ICT throughout the school. General Responsibilities · Maintenance of hardware, audio visual equipment and operating systems. · Ordering, cataloguing, maintaining and storing all IT materials and equipment. · Creating and maintaining department documentation, hardware and software audits, as well as implementing school policies as agreed with the Network Manager. AV/Data Network Installation Technician – South West London Up to £28,000 dependent on experience – Full Time (Mon – Fri, 8:30-17:00) We are currently looking for an experienced AV/Data Network Installation Technician to carry out installation, support and maintenance on behalf of our client across various school sites. The ideal candidate should have 2-5 years verifiable experience within the education sector. Experience within the corporate sector additionally would be desirable. Responsibilities within the role; · Installation and termination of CAT5, CAT5e and CAT6 cabling · Ability to patch cabinets, install network switches and make active connections · Installation of wireless systems · Designing system configuration, installation, definition and documentation in order to establish networking environments · Troubleshooting network issues · Dealing with upgrades · Working with network architects on optimization · Installation, maintenance and troubleshooting or interactive teaching tools, projectors and other AV items Skills required; · Qualifications in installation of CAT5, CAT5e, CAT6 and AV systems · LAN and WLAN knowledge · Networking knowledge, design and implementation, troubleshooting · Hardware configuration · Capable of using power tools and related materials · Able to undertake heavy lifting and work at heights · Knowledge and understanding of health and safety rules and ability to assess each working situation as required at each site · Knowledge/Experience in AV Installation and construction techniques · Stock management, job preparation and surveys.
