I agree no need to lease desktop printers, only lease high value items such as A3 MFD's.
However Kyocera laser printers have a very low running cost. If you buy the original toners from the correct place then they work out a avenge of 5p for a colour print. (Which is good for a laser printer compared to other manufactures)
If you are buying compatibles then get something signed to say they will arrange an engineer to fix the problem regardless. even better get a supplier who will give you free repairs on all your printers if you buy compatible from them.
Also make sure they guarantee the following:
100% of the yield - (Many suppliers will say if it has done 80% then become faulty that is OK)
Make sure you get the yield out of the toner
What is deemed as a faulty - it should be anything you deem as faulty should be replaced FOC the next day.
Cost of these toners are fixed.
Remember cheapest is not is not always best
