  2. Hi Davit, Yes, I've checked for any rules and any devices, and there is nothing unusual.
  3. Hi Norphy, Sorry for not getting back to you sooner This user is still losing emails after de-activating ActiveSync. Whiz
  4. Hi Norphy, Yes, she does funnily enough. I will try that now and post an update tomorrow. Thanks.
  5. Hi everyone, We have a slight problem which I hope someone would have experienced before. One of our users is constantly getting her emails deleted - without her doing anything. I've checked rules, and the auto-archive settings, but they're all as they are for every other user. Any suggestions? Thanks,
  6. Hi Oaktech, Thanks for that! Much appreciated.
  7. Hi, As part of our roles here at my work, we conduct the workstation assessments for our staff. One member of staff has mentioned that she feels uncomfortable when sitting in her chair while pregnant, as the back isn't adjustable. Do you people have any suggestions? Possibly from your experience? Or do you know of specific things I should look for? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  8. Hi, I was wondering if someone would be able to advise me on what to try next. We are trying to set up a data-driven subscription, which when we go to click on "New data-driven subscription", there is a yellow triangle with an exclamation mark. When we click on it, it says "Data-driven subscriptions cannot be created because the credentials used to run the report are not stored, the report is using user-defined parameter values, or if a linked report, the link is no longer valid". Any advice on what to do next?
  9. Hi, We've got a number of laptops which are used by our students, but the logon times reportedly take ages. I've tested this out using my account, and it took my account which is 200mb in size, 6 minutes to load. Any suggestions?
  10. Hi, Down to my inexperience in IT, I appear to have got into a bit of a sticky situation, and was wondering if you guys knew a way around it. We had a number of our students who couldn't access their mailboxes, and, after enabling one, it worked, so my logic (I know, it's stupid now) was to Enable all, so that they were all working... Or so I thought. We now have students receiving e-mails on both the Office 365, AND through the on premises exchange. Any ideas on how we can get around this, and get it so that the students are just in Office 365? Thanks
  11. Hi rrrrr, Do you use the Ruckus wireless system solely for the BYOD traffic? So do you have that, alongside another Wireless setup? Do you use virtualised desktops? Or just the standard PC setup?
  12. Hi, At my company, I have been set a task of possibly allowing our staff to bring their own devices. We have wireless already which they can connect to, but my real questions are... Do you guys allow staff to bring their own devices? And also, Do you use any special programs or features for this? I'd appreciate any response given. Thanks!
  13. We work in what could be considered a shift. As I said, we're a three person "IT Support" team, but really only two of us deal with most of the issues. What we have in place, is that one of us work from 8 til 4 Mon-Fri and the other person works 9-5 Mon-Fri, so that there is always someone here when our site is open. Other than that, on weekends, we are very similar to you, rrrrr, we do as you currently do, but if one of us respond, then the other person doesn't need to respond. Hopefully this helps.
  14. 3 people fall under the "IT Support" category here. MIS Manager Network manager IT Support Assistant - Me We get over 1,000 students, across four different buildings, Vanilla network, lots of printers, 7 PC Suites Between 100-200 Staff members. Over 500 computers.
  15. Ah, Well that's a different matter then. That couldn't be avoided. In my opinion, it depends on how frequent you have to perform out of hours tasks. Is it every month? Also it depends on how long it takes to resolve the task. If a task takes a mere 5 minutes to solve, then I don't even bother claiming it back as TOIL. If however, I was working for a long period of time out of hours, I would certainly claim that time back.
  16. Hi Manny, I think that was suggested for you, As our HAP at my place is working as expected now.
  17. Hi, At my organisation, I don't have a VPN set up, but my colleague does. We try to respond to the issues we get out of hours, when we receive them (e.g. if someone e-mails us on Saturday, then if we see it, we'll respond on Saturday). If any work is required out of hours, then we are able to claim that time back as TOIL. It would seem to me, a bit bizarre that your technician went away the same week as you, therefore I assume leaving no one there? At my organisation, we plan around each other, so that when my colleague is away, I'm here, and Vice versa, as we shouldn't have to worry about certain tasks when we are away on holiday.
  18. Hi, I was wondering if anyone knew where I could find the policy to make IE11 remember people's passwords between logins... We use roaming profiles, and a number of staff have mentioned to us that it is becoming a nuisance that they have to keep entering their username and password to access our VLE. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Whiz.
  19. Hi Manny, What does it say underneath "Application pool"?
  20. Hi Manny, I'd say check that your local system account has access to C:\inetpub\wwwroot\HAP. You're getting a different message when you test out your settings to what I had. Are you logged in with an administrator account?
  21. Hi Manny, What I did to restore our one, was I went onto the server which it was hosted on, and changed the "Application pool" to "DefaultAppPool" which then got it up and running again. This is of course, assuming that you are getting the exact same error message which I was getting? Before making any changes, make sure that the physical path is correct, and make sure you click "Test settings" (all of this can be found under Basic Settings). Let us know how you get on.
  22. Hi, Thanks so much for a response. It turns out that in the time waiting for a response, I was actually able to figure it out myself. It had an incorrect application path, but that is all sorted now. Thanks again for responding.
  23. Hi, We're getting this error message when we try to access our HAP, saying that the service is unavailable. I've gone onto the IIS manager on the server, to make sure that it is all up and running, which it is, and I have even restarted it (in the odd event of turning it off and on again). I've looked over the configuration, and nothing has changed since it last previously worked. The error code we get is 503. Any ideas? Thanks
  24. Hi Steve, I Believe that there is a policy which is blocking it, but, I guess my real question is, is there a way where I could keep the policy to stop the exe's running from here, but almost make this one exe an exception? We've got all of the right drivers, and we install it with an account which has access to the share we need it to see. I appreciate your response on a Sunday!
  25. Hi, We have an issue at our place, where the office 2013 is not installing during our build, we use MDT to build our computers. We have a policy which stops programs from running in the AppData\Local area under C:\Users, and my hunch, is that this is stopping it from installing. Can anyone confirm or deny this? Many Thanks.
