it wont let me, when i try to add a new person, it lets me fill out the info then flashes but nothing happens! but i did creat myself as a user before should i delete that one or something?

yes i have done all this but there is no unknown user in the right pane!

i have sel;ected allow all incoming connections and it has ftp smb listed btw thanks for all the help

ok, i have tried giving everyone full read and write access and turned off both firewalls but i still get the same error! and yes i am on 10.5

hi, when i try and share my mac folders on my LAN i can't, i have tried AFP, FTP and AD none of which are working but i can access any shared files on my windows pc through my mac but cannot save to it i get an error stating not enough privaliges! when trying to ftp to the mac i get thi error... 220 10.73.8.52 FTPsever (tnftpd 20061217) ready 530 user anomnymous unknown any ideas?

when i tried adding my mac computer to AD i got an error stating 2 unable to find domain" but the computer can see the domain and is accesing the web please help and advise on this thanks jay
