An opportunity has arisen for an ambitious, proactive committed and conscientious ICT Technician who would like to advance their career and contribute to the success of our school by working as a Senior ICT Technician. The successful candidate will provide an in-house ICT Technical Support Service at first, second and third line levels to both students and staff, across a mixed environment of hardware and software used within the Academy. You will work with the ICT Manager to ensure secure, reliable operation and maintenance of software, hardware and related equipment, including reprographics and AV equipment. You will lead certain IT projects, systems and developments within the school and work with stakeholders within the CNS ICT team, Trust Central ICT team and other colleagues within the school.
You will have relevant experience and qualifications or a desire to obtain these, be self-motivated and driven with excellent communication skills. You will have kept up-to-date with the latest advances in technology and lead by example with high professional standards and expectations. Opportunities to develop through formal qualifications and maintaining a professional knowledge of education technology will be provided.
We are investing in using ICT across the school to improve educational outcomes for our students, and our ICT team are an integral part of the school, supporting a community of over 1700 students from Year 7 to Year 13 (Sixth Form).
