I do the same as @Duke5A, the only other step I do is to create a snapshot just before the sysprep, this means you can then revert to the snap shot after capturing the image and not have any sysprep flags. Then you can easily edit and recapture using the same process as many times as required

Ensure you know the plan for adding any future establishments in and that you don't limit yourself to pay small number of establishments before having to change your IP structure.

Hi All, I am wanting to make use of the Wireless Hotspot feature in Windows 10 but it is designed to automatically turn off if there are no devices found for a period of time. this is annoying and there doesn't look to be a way to change this setting. Does anybody know if the timeout can be changed? or how the hotspot can be controlled via CMD as i could script it. i have tried the commands found online but they don't work/display an error. If I go into settings and enable the hotspot there it works perfectly so i know the hardware can do it. The commands i have used and the ones Google finds every time are [color=#333333][font=Inconsolata]netsh wlan set hostednetwork mode=allow ssid=MyHotspot key=password [/font][/color][color=#333333][font=Inconsolata]netsh wlan start hostednetwork[/font][/color] Any ideas or suggestions of an alternate application will b great. Hi All, I am looking to change the default retention period on our 365 tenancy but have been told that there may be the requirement of another license to extend this past 30 days. is this right? or has anybody hear of anything similar. We are going to try and get a backup solution in place to back up all of the mailboxes however I wanted to do this as the first level of protection and a bit of a safety net. Cheers

Hi All, Like a silly person i didnt properly backup a script which i made a while ago and now when i need it i can not remmeber how i did it. I am needing to copy all members of a distribution group in Office 365 to a Mail enabled security group in Office 365. I used powershell to do this and am sure the start of the script was something like Get-DistributionGroupMember “MYDistributionGroup” | Get-Mailbox | does anybody have any ideas? Many thanks

Hi All, I am part way through setting up Smoothwall and would like to make it so that all traffic on vlan 100 (curriculum) goes via SW with out needing the proxy.pac/wpad settings so that the SW is inline. Client PC (Vlan 100) --> SW --> Watchguard --> Internet I do not want to have to change the default route on the core switch as other services on the network still need this. Is there a way to set a default gateway for a vlan? I use HP switches. many thanks

I have read the article in full now and see what you mean about the pac files. Our client pcs get the pac from smoothwall and I am sure this is via http, I will have to check.

We use Windows 7 64-bit, and they have the latest version of ie I think so this sounds like it may be the cause of the issue. We use the proxy.pac to force the clients to talk to the proxy (smoothwall). When you say your problem was resolved by hosting the file on a http site is this the. Pac file or the calendar? Hi All, I am having some trouble with shared calendars. I have an account with about 10 calendars which need to be shared with different team members (all part of the same O365 tennancy). When I share the calendars the user gets the invite and accept, the calendar works in the web interface but not in Outlook. in Outlook you get an error stating that either the server can not be contacted or that the folder is unavailable. I have shared the calendar from both webmail and Outlook desktop application with the same resulds. Every so often it works for a user in Outlook but i am not sure why/how. I have made sure that the account is visable in the address book (I have read previously that this can be the cause to the issue) I spoke to Microsoft when i originally had this issue and they didnt have an answer. They spent hours trying to fix it but didnt manage (this is when i found sharing the default cal helped) My previouse work around for this was to share the default calendar first and then once this had worked share the other calendars, this worked more times than not but i dont really want to have to share the default calendar. Has anybody else had the same issues or got any advise/surgestions? Many thanks all!

We used to use netsupport but are moving to abtutor in September as it is loads cheaper and is a great product. The support is also spot on

i looked at the manual install and it is the way to go however it will need an MST with the servers details of the sims server, this is the part i am not sure about.

Hi All, Is there a way to either have the solus 3 agent automatically install after a computer has been reimaged or to use a gpo to install the agent? the reason for this is to reduce the number of things that need to be done after a pc has been reimaged. cheers

Hi all, does anybody know if you can use nagios to monitor server ram usage, cpu usage and hard disk space with out a client? I would like to use snmp for everything instead of installing ns client. Cheers!
