  1. Hi, I've been searching for ideas to suit our situation and are hoping someone can help. I have access to 18 iPads for use in the classroom. I have a macbook running osx 10.6. The iPads are currently not to be connected to the existing school network or internet. I can create an adhoc network from the macbook and have an ipad connect, however I want to do the following somehow: iPads can can connect to and read and write from a shared folder on my macbook. Also, for me to somehow push out new apps via wifi to the iPads. Is this possible with an adhoc network such as this? Any help greatly appreciated!
  2. What happened? I'm just about to implement this, is the problem with staff abusing privileges?
  3. Thanks Chris for pointing us to that line! We changed day.php to week.php to get it to work. It was also about line 332 for our version. We also wanted to get rid of 'external' and 'internal' booking 'types'. We have added 'permanent' and 'normal' for types of bookings in config.php, however in the comments it mentions to leave 'external' or 'E' and 'internal' or 'I' for compatibility issues. We have just commented out 'E' and 'I' and added 'permanent' and 'normal'. Anyone know if that will cause any 'computability' issues? Seems to work ok, so far.
  4. Hi, Need help with a problem with MRBS. When adding or editing a booking and then clicking the 'save' button the page is redirected to 'day' view. The default view is 'week'. Has anyone encountered this?
  5. Thank you all for your replies. Looking at Robocopy now, will definately try and backup atleast two weeks minimum. Will let you all know how it goes. Cheers!
  6. Hi, Need help in setting up a basic back up routine using just 1 1TB external USB 2.0 HDD on Windows Server 2K3 using ntbackup. I am thinking of just backing up system state and User data daily on weekdays. Would that be enough? Because we are only using one drive, do I overwrite each daily backup or try and fit on as many daily backup's as possible? We have a small school, User data is currently only a few gig, with capacity to store a maximum of 500gig. Just cant seem to find any decent tutorials or info at the moment. Any help would be great. Thanks
