I deployed both Java 8.25 and 8.31 using SCCM 2012 R2 and didn't notice any problem. If someone is still having trouble with the deployment, I'd be more than happy to take a look at your SCCM log file. Also, if you're simply trying to update current version of Java, you might want to find the remove/uninstall GUID for older Java.
