Thanks Arthur. Popped into school this morning on my way to work and disabled the intel drivers on the offending machines - will do for the time being but may give that one a go.

Yes Arthur the up to date driver you link to gets the CTouch working just fine but you get black screen on the RM ONE. dDMcCoy - yep, that's what I need, an interim driver version that's up date enough to spark the CTouch into life but is also backwards compatible with the RM One. If you have any record of that driver version it would be gratefully received. I have spent most of the day today in school trying to sort and have them something workable for tomorrow. Thanks for the replies.

Hello all New to Edu Geek - not a tech or NM but a CoG at a small primary who often gets roped in to technical things! Just had some C touch screens. Most of them run fine off the RM One PC201 teachers desk top machines via VGA. The ones that work have an Nvidia graphics card / display drivers. Where we have an issue is two RM machines running Intel G41 Express. The screen says "no Signal". If I update the driver the screen works but the desktop display doesn't, it goes black after start up, as I think its only DVI compatible. If I effectively uninstall the display drivers and rely on native PCI GDIHOOKS it all seems to work OK on both screens but display options are limited i.e. you can only mirror the display. Whilst were in the process of upgrading our server to 2012 and teacher desktops to W7 which will also look at desktop H/W specs to include HDMI requirements I wondered if any could. suggest any work arounds or; Comment on any issues with running without the display drivers in the short term. I think thats a decent approach. We have Google Apps for Education at school and I have put in place the recorded settings but wouldn't want staff saving stuff to removable drives or personal cloud storage.
