  2. Thanks guys, i was able to remove the apps from the .wim file that was created using the dism feature
  3. Hi guys Working on creating a new image to be deployed in our college over the summer. I have created an image on a VM and ran a powershell script to remove these unwanted apps. Works fine on the image and i capture it fro deployment with SCCM. When the images deploys to a physical machine and i log in as a down user the apps have reappeared. Windows 10 Educatioon version 1709. I used 1607 previously and didn't have any issues like this Any ideas how i can kill these off for all users
  4. I am having the same issue. I recently imaged 2 classrooms with the same image (10.11.6) and this happens on a few of the macs, but not them all. I did modify the default user template as part of the image process. Macs are bound to AD running Server 2012R2
  5. We also use Screencast-o-matic, some lecturers even bought the PRO version and use it on their own PCs at home
  6. Another new week and another new version of flash is available. This is a real pain. I have created the mms.cfg file and placed it in the correct folder. On the machine side it stops asking for updates but the real issue is when using Safari. Is there a way to disable Safari from checking for the latest Flash update? I don't mind manually updating the clients using ARD but it is such a pain when users open Safari and it says Flash is out of date
  7. I have the same issue in 2 classrooms where flash is "out of date" every couple of weeks which is a real pain. I deploy the latest version of flash using ARD, but would really like to disable the update altoghether and update the flash player manually over the college holiday periods
  8. We run sophos on all our macs as well with no issues
  9. hi there I am having the exact same issues with printers in the college I work for. Mountain Lion Mac Mini Server pulling printers from a Win server 2008 R2 print server and being deployed via Profile Manager. Printers appear for user but once they try to print there is a padlock symbol beside the printer and once they click on it, it asks for local admin credentials to unlock the printer. Would love to find a fix for this
