I am having the same issue with Java 8 u25, the msi installer fails with Error 1721: There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program required for this install to complete could not be run. Contact your support personnel or package vendor. I was trying to upgrade from Java 7 u67 to Java 8, using SCCM. Never had a problem before, and Java 7 uninstalled just fine, just can't install 8 from the MSI file. If I run the EXE it installs fine, but that is not how I want to be deploying to my user PCs. Is this perhaps just an issue with this MSI package?
