BADMINTON SCHOOL, BRISTOL Independent Boarding and Day School for girls The Network Services Department currently has the following staff vacancy: Senior IT Technician Badminton School seek to appoint a Senior IT Technician to assist with the provision of an effective and reliable IT system to support pupils and staff at the School. The department aims to provide proactive support and robust systems tailored to the School’s needs. The emphasis is on a proactive customer service and the approach to faults is preventative rather than reactive. Customers include pupils, academic staff and support staff. The ideal candidate will be educated to Degree standard, preferably in a relevant area, with a minimum of one year’s experience working in a computer network environment with 500 users or more. Applicants will be personable, of smart appearance and have good social skills. They will be organised, punctual and efficient in organising their workload and managing their time effectively. This is a full-time appointment based on a 40-hour week during term times and a 35-hour week during school holidays. There is also a timetabled out-of-hours cover rota which the post holder will be expected to participate in. The successful candidate will benefit from a salary of £22-28k, free school meals and generous holidays.
