    Mac storage issues

Last place did similar, had a Synology where the files were stored, but users still logged in with AD users
  3. https://hackintosh.com/
  4. If you lack a Mac to do the caching server, a Hackintosh should still do the job IIRC
  5. Whats wrong with the caching server? quick and easy to setup and fixes the issue
  6. Back when i worked in Edu, we used Dell AIOs, rarely had any issues and reduces the amount of cabling needed!
  7. TLDR since my last post, but i'm now having to do a DSAR, to put all PSTs into a single, in the export settings at the bottom untick 'Organize data from different locations into separate folders or PSTs'
  8. You can yes as this is how i do it, i don't have a SAR requests live currently but it something in the export setting you can change to put it into 1
  9. As a life long Doctor Who fan i say.... just let it die, the stories are getting more ridiculous and far-fetched and writing is poor. Needs to be put to sleep for another 15 years or so.
  10. Recently got a contract with EE to have as a backup to Vodafone. See below message history word for word (bar taking out obvious details), backstory: User needs eSIM moved from 1 device to another. My tech emailed him and got told to call Customer support who told them he cant do it, i have to as im named on the account. I ring EE who tell me to go to an EE store.... im a business customer. 1st email from me: AM reply: (thats it, no signature no hi or regards no nothing that is word for word) ME: AM: .... i don't really know what to answer to that
  11. Microsoft's Purview eDiscovery is a god send for SAR requests
  12. I've recently built a full UniFi Enterprise HA enviroment, WAN Switches, EFGs, Enterprise POEs and Fiber switching. Feel free to DM me any questions
  13. Morning All, I'm looking into a solution to get all our UniFi UDMs (5) to feed back to a syslog server, i've looked into a few foss ones but they all seem to have a gotcha or 2. Does anyone here have one and if so which? Ideally running on Linux. Looked into Microsoft Sentinel but ££££ Cheers

    USB C Hubs

We use Ankle dongles like this one: https://amzn.eu/d/3kWWrtg Not had a single 1 die in 3 years, have brought atleast 40
  17. Android and Intune does the job here for our phones (100+) fairly straightforward to setup and maintain
  18. Meanwhile you can get an M4 Mac Mini for cheaper than this
  19. We're using U7 XGS's, only for a couple of buildings and doing the job so far! We have a whole new office building soon so will be using them
  20. We use Vodafone, have around 200 Lines, on their VCO (Vodafone Corporate Online) platform and to put it lightly, it is pants, very slow, very hard to find way around and the support is near 0.
