  1. If it logically can't be done with the resources you have then its either; A) Explain to Music teaches that they can only have X amount of storage locally to have sound library B) Get approval to buy the storage (which is unlikely so it will have to be A!)
  2. If you can get the network storage plugged into the same switch as the 30x Macs and get it on a 10G connection it shoooullddd be ok but may struggle when all 30 are accessing it.
  3. Is your child 2nd in line to the throne and have a private bodyguard?
  4. Security, simple as that.
  5. Had this issue before, as @BKGarry mentioned, we put the sounds on a network share Edit: This was way back and we ended up having issues with bandwidth, once we moved over to M1 iMacs we moved them back onto the device.
  6. If there is no way to upgrade due to 32Gb (which i get 64gb is even a struggle now) i would do the following. mark them as EOL and not to be used. Explain to the powers at be the risks at play, if they don't care, you write it up and get them to sign it off saying they are responseable for any security breach due to the out of date OS. (9/10 they will say no and just buy new iPads) Rule 101 of IT. ALL* devices needs to have their security updates applied in a timely manner *yes i know of certain air gapped machines that run a laser printer from the 1800s....
  7. I'm more worried about the bit that says Windows 8!
  8. The Four Seasons (s2, Netflix) 4 Episodes into series 2, loving it so far has some great one liners, a nice easy going watch!
  9. We use System Active (we're non-edu though) but they are a Lenovo Reseller and our account manager is amazing
  10. Zabbix with a mix of UniFi alerting
  11. Remembrance of the Daleks is my all time favourite Who serial/episode, had it on VHS growing up and watched it countless times.
  12. Whats your fix with the 300es? You can't span the C drive across the 2 drives unless you RAID them. As for the 100es, 64GB hasn't been enough for Windows 11 since the start (once you start putting Office etc on it also), it's not even enough for iPads now! The only fix is to upgrade the storage or move to another lighter OS like ChromeOS or a Linux distro.
  13. Jury Duty S2 Company Retreat, Not as good as the first series, takes a bit longer to get going but the last 2 episodes are comedy gold.
  14. PIM, MS Auth and Yubikeys for our admins Also a breakglass account with a Yubikey and alerts if its ever signed in
  15. As you are more than likely aware but choosing to ignore, this isn't the main issue. The main issue is a lot of people (including me) are still AI sceptics and always use AI with a fine tooth comb, by Chrome just bypassing this it's a breach of trust. If you had a modern car, and it just downloaded an update that tracks your driving without you knowing to train its new autopilot model you'd be quite right to be a bit miffed. (Also i'd hope they wouldnt train it off my mother-in-law who doesnt know she has a gear above 3rd). It's the same premise. If Google had made this an option check in it wouldnt of made the news.
  16. It's A1709, but as mentioned above i'm not willing to split sell, ideally want no more than 2-3 bulks of kit.

    Rolling out Neos

Can you explain why ? We have Macs and Windows co-existing without issue, it's all about setup and correct MDMs
  23. I never got as far as you, we don't have any internal servers to run certain parts on plus its on too many systems that i don't know well and not that i don't trust them but i'd rather pay for a SaaS that just works, but doesnt cost a bomb!
  24. After dealing with issues with our internal call centres, our sound dampening (not proofing as suppliers kept telling me!) was panels on the wall and ceilings, worked a treat for voices, you will need them in your office and the rooms next door for full dampening And carpet not solid floors
