We are using pcounter in a cluster environment - 2 nodes for print server and 2 nodes for admin server. This is 2008 R2 on VMware. We regularly (every few days) have a situation where cluster disk 3 fails and depending on what the server is doing will result in different symptoms i.e all services relating to pcounter in server manager on the admin server stop and have to be brought back on line. on the print-servers the spooler stops or pcontrol stops. in the event log we seems to get isatap errors at the same time. any ideas

I am running Pcounter / Sharp Embedded in a cluster environment. 2 admin nodes. With reference to the OCR license run by Sentinel License Manager in (Daccs - Scanning - OCR) When the cluster fails over the license doesnt load on the new mode? I have a separate license on each node. Any ideas?

Thanks for the reply. the jobs don't always get written to the pcounter.log. i.e if i release 10 jobs in one go, only 6 will record in the pcounter.log. I have been told pcounter uses pcountercache when pocunter.log is busy and its failing to write/read to the cache.

Help - pcounter doesnt record all jobs i.e they dont appear in reports or in pcounter.log. The user balance changes so we know the device is talking to the server. I think it is an issue with the pcountercache. The jobs are recorded in the log on the device ok. Any suggestions Everywomensdream (Ironic)
