We have an admission limit of 1000 but only have 720 on role at the moment. But have 12 IT Suites, 500+ comps, Not including teachers SIMS computers in every classroom, 80+ whiteboards, 60+ teachers laptops + anything else that has a plug on it. I am the only technician. There is and ITDirector/Network manager who will now have to do everything he used to do, plus all the new stuff (meeting etc for BSF) and then all my jobs too!! As I said in another post.... I hope he has somewhere the brush will fit. Thanks for your good luck wishes.

It was 7 years last January. The head left the following July, and slowly most of the staff moved on or retired over the next 4/5 years. As I said there isn't one teacher still there that was there when I was, (Although I interviewed most of them for their current jobs!! Now then.......Could I use a little blackmail?!?!? ). Not to worry, I'll just make a reference to it on my CV/redeployment forms and they can decide what to do. Thanks again to all who have answered.

There are no SMT left there (was Junior school) and believe it or not all teaching staff have moved on too!! only some support staff & school secretary left there that know me. They won't be to give me what the people are looking for. @ K.C.Leblanc, I can track him he's alive and kicking just can't get in touch at the mo and need info now. Appreciate the fact that he should be left to enjoy his retirement, but the have specifically asked for LAST employer as well as most recent. And as stated above there is no-one left there who can help! Thanx to you all for your advice, would appear that there isn't an answer, other than wait till he comes back.

Hi there, Got a problem, due to the fact that I am being made redundant in July (which is a whole other story!!! Didn't know you could have a school our size without any technicians but still!!!!) I am in the process of updating my CV and filling out redeployment forms. I need to add the head from the last school that I worked at, but he has retired, I have his snail mail address and a phone number (both are ex-directory) but they also ask for email (for speed) I cannot find it, tried Googling 'find email address' but either have to pay a fortune or it doesn't do what it says on the label, anyone any ideas where I could possibly find it. Can anyone help PLEASE?

I think you will find that's the point on scale 6 that you are looking at not the age ie point 21-25 on scale 6 A very easy mistake to make

'Old Fart' I might be, but I'm a good one!!! Worked in IT, teaching and maintaining for many years, Oh and although you should never ask a lady her age, I'm 46

My daughter bought a brand new Astra.....interest free!!!! Had nothing but trouble with it, so after 18months traded it in for a brand new Peugoet convertable, flashy little thing. This with what she owed on the original Astra ended up costing her over £23.000. Diddled or what!! Now she's in debt up to her neck, and driving round in a V reg Vectra a right heap!!! Had to sell the Peugoet for less than £10000 to stop herself from getting in any deeper. My advice, DON'T BUY NEW!!!! As you can see my daughter didn't listen either!
