I've seen similar behaviour caused by SSL decryption settings on webfilters (went away with settings turned fully off), but as you've physically bypassed your Sophos box, I guess this won't be the case. :-s

Speaker by itself would only draw 500mah, nowhere near the 7500mah required to drain the battery in 20mins.

Can't help with most of this, but a quick Google says: In describing batteries, discharge current is often expressed as a C-rate in order to normalize against battery capacity, which is often very different between batteries. A C-rate is a measure of the rate at which a battery is discharged relative to its maximum capacity. A 1C rate means that the discharge current will discharge the entire battery in 1 hour. For a battery with a capacity of 100 Amp-hrs, this equates to a discharge current of 100 Amps. A 5C rate for this battery would be 500 Amps, and a C/2 rate would be 50 Amps. So... For your 2500mah battery, I think 3C means you can draw up to 7500mah (which would exhaust the battery in 20mins if drawn constantly).

I've used both, def. recommend Synology. QNAP often went down & support was terrible. Synology has yet to fail (14mths & counting).

Grr @edugeek App {every time I go to edit a post, it deletes it!} Anyway, on topic: +1 for PrivateInternetAccess I also use PIA it keeps no logs, includes kill switch, their app is just a wrapper around OpenVPN, price includes 5 devices, and it supports everything I have: Android, Apple, Linux, Windows. Speed for me currently: Speedtest.net by Ookla - My Results Downside: Because the app runs at login on Windows PC it means that if you use kill switch you have no internet access until it's connected - which can be annoying.

Yeah, it's easily managed, you just remove the contents of the primary card number field from their user account in the web interface.

So, after eventually getting my test laptop upgraded to 9926, I found that I could indeed sign in with an Office365 address! Buut, I had to use the whole email address to do it, which isn't great, but my tester is on a Workgroup atm, so may be able to get around that by joining it to a domain with the UPN Suffix the same as our email domain? Unfortunately once in, I found again dependency on Microsoft Accounts! I'm hoping this is because MS are going for the same Outlook Express vs Outlook kind of model with Mail and Office2013, i.e. Mail & builtin Onedrive are meant for home users and Office2013 Mail & Onedrive will work with Office365, or, maybe they've just not got that far with the AzureAD compatibility? I'll kick off a copy of Office2013 on this tester when I get a mo and see if I get any joy.

We went with an app called Print n Share Phone Printing - There’s an App For That: “Print n Share”, this works in conjunction with WePrint server (downloads on that same site) which sits on our SVR2008R2 Print Server. Unfortunately the App isn't free but its worked really well here, the biggest challenge we found was disabling services on the printer web interfaces so that students could only print to selected printers.
