I love Facebook. I love that it enables me and boyfriend to keep in touch with friends and family and let them know what we're doing and keep up with what they're doing. No one has the ability to manually keep in touch with everyone they would like to as often as they'd to. We do our very best to see family/friends on both sides as often as we can but we both work full-time and there's only so much you can cram into the weekends and with friends/family all over the show, it's such a good way of keeping in touch, sharing stuff that's going on with you. Boyfriend's best friend is training to be a ranger out in South Africa - time difference, dodgy connection etc. means that we would hardly have been able to speak to him for the last year. Facebook has enabled us to keep track of where he's at and for him to see what's going on with us. If you have people on your newsfeed and you don't care about what they have to say, what holiday they've been on, if they've got a job they love, if they're happy etc. then it's your own fault for having them there in the first place! Edit: I can imagine all the baby pictures/pregnancy announcements are hard when you're in the process of trying, though.

Some schools have discussed upgrading them to Windows 8 Pro under their schools licence agreement which should then allow them to connect to a domain. Just working on getting definite confirmation on this for you.

They are Windows 8 but can be upgraded to 8.1 and no, not pro. If you would like to avoid having to do that, we would happy to do it for you so they arrive with 8.1.
