Hi, we are trying to roll out Adobe CC (Premiere Pro and Photoshop). We are struggling with setting the defaults for things like using the D drive on desktops as a Cache/scratch disk. I have seen a video where you create a default profile and use a GPO to copy down a default preferences template. But generally it ignores these settings. Anyone a wizz or done this before?! Thanks!

We have Meraki for Ipads, used that for years, we have a mac server, with Maverick on the MACs, they use logic and Adobe. We can't update the Macs in case its breaks scripts and stuff, also we would then need to go for Adobe CC which we can get via LGFL. The system works, but was setup by someone else and nobody in the team knows Macs.(yet)

Hi all, any suggestions on a firm that can help us understand, update and support our Mac infrastructure? We want to update our OS, but we also have a server that needs updating, plus the image etc... Also our Mac's are very old so need to plan for those. Hi guys, don't know where to start, but we are already using O365, Sharepoint etc... But the school want to consider moving from MS to Google, anyone been in that situation? They prefer G Classroom to Teams for example. I am in the process of getting Classroom up and running and we already sync accounts to Google, with the O365 subscription you get Sharepoint so there is'nt a cost saving unless we totally dump MS, right? Thanks!!

Yes I think so, I found the ref to the IP (!), but cos I can't push configs, that has lead to other issues. AP120s take a config, the others dont.

It seems only AP130s are affected, no AP120s. The system is expensive and the support is rubbish, any ideas?

It seems I have made the changes but they are not getting pushed to the APs. They are complaining about failing to log into an SCP server. Any ideas?

Hi all, we have Aerohive, we have an old DC which we want to retire, I have been shutting it down to see if any services are affected. We find that WPA AAA authentication is affected. I checked the AD integration and pointed it to our new DC. However still have the same issues. Anyone able to help me find referances to the old DC? Thanks.

Hi guys, hope your all keeping well. So we've been using TEAMS for sometime now, SLT would like the ability to "drop in" to a lesson which are run from within Team/Channels. There was a PowerApp/Flow thing on Github which I got totally confused with. Is there a simples way of doing this? Don't want to over complicate things! Thanks guys. James

Hi, yes I understand it all now. It seems there is no policy to control Channels and the Teams themselves.

Ok, teachers have just checked, they are attendees, any ideas?? Also, I checked the settings on a meeting, it does show "Who can present?" as "Only Me". The list of those in the meetings are listed under "Attendees" with only 1 "Presenter" which is the teacher. I got the screenshots here so it all looks ok. Yet they still chat. Thanks.

Oh ok, yes I wondered about that. I have really scrutinised all the policies and check real examples. I have set the option about presenter rights to "Organizers, but users can override". Am I right in thinking that if staff make their own meeting ad hoc, the policy does not apply straight away?

Hi all, firstly I have created policies and assigned them to either Teachers or Students. I have a dynamic group with members in, this is assigned to my profiles. The problem is (and I have checked specific users and their policy) that students are able to chat, mute and boot each other out. Staff are checking only the presenter has rights under meeting options, also ALL chat options are off. Still its not making any differance. Also I need to stop students creating Teams. It seems the control is non existing. Anyone else got this?? My chat and some users its off, but some just don't get the settings.

Hi all, we have just gone with TalkTech and a Polycom handsets. We use LGFL and also Smoothwall. We have requested the changes with LGFL but the test handset still fails on provisioning with ztp.polycom. We have tried the handset with another ISP totally away from our network and its fine. We have tried to exempt it with Smoothwall. Anyone else had issues? Thanks.

Ok, thanks guys. I have two schools, one is using schoolname.borough.sch.uk so I gather they can use that? Its with LGFL. The other school does have a domain, they use it for Gsuite, but to keep things simple I want to do the same and go for the same format. aprimary.borough.sch.uk this school also uses USOSync. We have Azure sync running to our main high school tenant. Would the e-mails remain at lgfl or would the mailboxes be hosted at Microsoft? Just seeing how it could all fit together. Thanks.

Hi all, we have two sites still using LGFL's Staffmail. They both have their own domains (one is using it for G Suite). Just starting to think how these schools can move to Office 365. Would they be able to keep their current staffmail address? If they have to log into Offfice365 with the school's own domain I suppose we'd need to migrate to new e-mail addresses. Thanks for any pointers. James

Hi all, like many schools we have students who don't have access to device. We have funding for a number of laptops, I just wondered how everyone else is dealing with security of the device and ownership? I know it will need to be security marked, no local admin access, but other than a Meraki client, is there anything else I can do? They will have a 3G dongle with them. Cheers.
