With the talk of Secret of Mana - I may have to fire up the PSP so I can play it. I remember managing to get the form altered Lv8 spells when I played it before.

Add a Nagelring into that mix - every 11 seconds (time in cutscenes/conversations INCLUDED) you get a Fallen Lunatic (the ones that explode) up to a maximum of four. They usually knock a massive chunk out of (or sometimes completely flatten) any boss / unique.

Doesn't sound too bad for only being 20% of the way to the level cap.

I think getting rid of Nightmare & Hell contributed to that - it gave you something to aim for. I managed to finish Hell with a melee Assassin (build up shed loads of charges and then release them all to see the screen disappear in pyrotechnics) and the same pull doesn't appear to be there. Doesn't stop me laughing like a madman while my Monk is practically skipping through a rift being unkillable (seriously - regen/heath drain are at silly levels) and going through hordes of enemies like they're made of soft cheese.

Well, Blizzard have now released the Necromancer on to Diablo 3 - mine downloaded this morning. Haven't had chance to run one yet - but here's hoping it's like the D2 incarnation and I can run a literal horde of skelebobs.

I'm torn about this - there's some brilliant games there (SECRET OF FRICKIN' MANA, PEOPLE!), but would I actually play it beyond the first couple of weeks? Sure, I loved most of the games there - but I have them on my emulatored up PSP, and I barely fire that up. I think the price tag has done it for me.

We have a rapidly shrinking budget - so refurbs are a must. To be fair though, the ones we generally get have had a bit of a boost with 4GB RAM and SSDs installed so they're fairly quick.
