  1. 5-10x the minimum of what? Sorry if i've missed something...
  2. Thanks for help so far.... a few more questions. 1) When there's a limit, i assume thats how much you can spend on that card in any given amount of time...? 2) What the heck is a balance transfer?? 3) What's the APR thing then, how much you'd have to pay extra on top if you don't pay it back in the month? 4) Any recommendations? I hear the Tesco ones tend to be good, as you also get clubcard points with any purchases made on the card.... Sorry for all the questions, my banking level is very basic (Just have/had a debit account and 1 basic savings account in my lifetime...oh and a mortgage) Oh and FYI in reply to a couple of points raised. 3 year fixed rate mortgage thing runs out in March 2018, so hoping a better credit score may lead to better rates (that's my understanding anyway?) and also with loans in mind? And OH already has a car contributing to their score, and i have a sofa, + phones etc...
  3. ...Where to start It's been advised from a few sources (bank, and credit score websites..) in the past that i should get a credit card in order to improve my credit score (assuming i spend within my means...) My parents have never had one, so I know next to nothing about them. Has anyone had experience of using them for the above purpose? Or is it all talk from both banks a credit score websites in order to maybe fund themselves? Am i right in thinking that if i pay money back on whatever i spend on them withing a certain time period, I don't pay any interest ever? Or is there a catch to that? Any advice/tips appreciated!
  4. Thanks for this offer, it'll go along nicely with the 200 DNA Licenses we just brought using your last offer! (which is working very well, may i add!)
  5. Any of this any good? https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!topic/chrome/l3t67Fsq56A
  6. One of my colleagues once came into work with a loaf of pre sliced crusty bread, and a pack of salami. He in turn in the space of about half an hour had made about 6 sandwiches and polished the whole loaf and pack of salami. Hes very skinny and does climbing, among other similar outdoor activities.

It's on the PS Store somewhere if you fancy it......... Though i'd spent around 45 minutes on a level the other day (after a few failed attempts) Was well on my way to beating the level and the game froze! PS. Just seen how i wrote that reply at 8:16, didn't mean it to come across all serious like, (blame my lack of coffee!)

That's the dragons. The wyrms are the ones that are on the floor. The game is so hard. Can be playing a level for an hour and have to start from scratch if you die.

Recently started trying to play Magic Carpet again, anyone ever play that back in the day?
  11. Didn't need it for me, about five minutes after i disabled it, admin team said they couldn't scan, i then enabled it, then they could, then disabled it again, and they couldn't.
  12. I did it via registry. It didn't need a restart. I can't change any features because the server knows it needs a restart (from the installed update) Look here http://goo.gl/c6FLhi
  13. Okay, I've been ill over the weekend so am a bit behind with the developments on this.... I have temporarily disabled SMB1 on the server, I have installed the patch that stops the vulnerability, but it wont run until the server is restarted. Does the patch disable SMB1, or just it just close the vulnerability? We've already noticed an issue with disabling SMB1 (Admin Copier wont scan files to network drives)
  14. is it worth moving all the game-guessing related stuff to a separate thread?
  15. Desert Strike. BQQQAEZ
  16. Nuclear Strike? Or Soviet Strike (but i don't think so)
  17. It was a free game on the Dreamcast I still have it.
  18. ChuChu Rocket
  19. Fair one, then yeah, a lot of cheap, low milage cars available! Which would potentially help with running costs (going on the loose theory that there's less likely to go wrong on a lower milage car..)
  20. If going the car route, i take it you'd be considering an automatic? (not using it much,easier/quicker to learn in etc?) Would make more sense to me (you can get a lot of old, low milage automatics, for quite cheap)
  21. Correct! Tried not to do an obvious screenshot at first.
  22. Nope!
  23. Name the game!
  24. Windows had updates.... it worked after they were applied... (complicated, but i'm not in charge of the laptop with regards to updates anti virus etc)
  25. Already checked... (mentioned in OP) ha
