  1. One would hope and assume that, but its not the case. IE7 is installed without a single GP policy applied, therefore vanilla. Not quite sure if Ranger (5.9) is interfering in the process, but does not allow saving for any reason. We were wondering if it was an update installed as this problem has just only started occuring. My Documents, does link to their network drives, but iirc, I've never seen it do that.
  2. We use Ilients Sysaid for monitoring. Notifications on service stops, network drops, anything specified really. We also monitor CPU,Mem,HD usage with Sysaid, checking strain on servers, and timeframes for spikes. Quite dandy really.
  3. Hi All, New to the forums, found them via schooltechnician.co.uk, onto the matter at hand Is there anyway to set the default download location for Internet Explorer 6/7 via GPO? I know there is the registry change: (HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer \ Download Directory \ REG_SZ \ \folder With Ranger restrictions in place, saving to the desktop causes more problems than use, and would like oodles of amounts of staff and students, to be able to save in their mapped user folders. Any ideas?
