  1. I have been completing the migrations and installing SOLUS3 in one visit. Will be starting the next batch of schools once the Spring version is released. Please contact me if you want a quote.
  2. I have been migrating schools onto new servers over the summer holidays. I have done a handful of migrations to SQL2012, installing Discover and doing SOLUS3 with no issues. Not sure if Capita are doing Discover and SOLUS3 along with the migrations. Going forward its more cost affective to do everything in one hit as I am doing for schools at the moment.
  3. Hi, It looks like a previous account was using an "active directory" account. Have a search through the sims users and if that's the case, change the user ID and you shouldn't get the error message. I hope this helps
  4. Hi, I have not seen that prompt before and I have run many, many upgrades on W7. I do usually assign local admin rights tho. Perhaps adding domain users to local power users and giving full access to c:\program files\sims may do the trick. Hope this helps.
  5. Hi All, SOLUS3 does cope will with upgrading more than 1 FMS database. The highest number of FMS databases setup so far is 5. I do still use FDS to setup the icons and shortcuts. Would be interested to know if anybody else has managed to get the shortcuts issued via SOLUS3 yet.
  6. Hi TheGoodGuy, I have moved a few schools to SQL 2012 without issue. What went wrong?
