In terms of the registry edit though

would this setting work for a proxy.pac url configuration ? would i change the entry in your last screen shot to http://brunel.flhs.local/ws1000.pac for example?

can you explain that in a bit more detail on where to start etc learning as i go along! thanks

i have installed ie10 through windows updates on win 7 enterprise network, however manage group policy through a windows 7 vm machine with remote server administration tools as we have not upgraded the server to server 2008 as yet due to still have xp machines as well as other reasons, however internet explorer is now not picking up the proxy configuration group policy settings through internet explorer maintenance. how is best to resolve this issue. i have read that installing a vm of windows 8 and using the server management tools resolves this? any help be greatly appreciated other wise will have to roll back to ie9. thanks for your assistance

hi, bought same toshiba l850 same issue with the wireless, when i install vap and press fn key the function keys don't relate to what is on the keyboard i.e. it thinks wireless is f8 and thats the fast forward button, and wireless is actually f12, have installed windows enterprise 32 bit and there is also one unknown driver refering to the bluetooth acpi driver and when i install this it says not intended for this platform yet on the factory install recovery this feature is installed, did you ever get this matter resolved, help is urgently required???? as when i click on the wireless it says no wireless connections are available even though the driver has seem to of initialised ?
