  1. Some users are experiencing SIMS update launch failure when using SIMS. This is the image of the error message. Please advise.
  2. All, It seems that an internal IP address that was imbedded has resurfaced for the DataCollection service. We noted and mod'd this and all is working well. Thanks again!
  3. Happy New Years to all my EduGeek family. After updating InTouch along with the rest of SIMS and additional SIMS modules, InTouch will no launch. It displays an error related to an SDK file missing, .NET 3.0. I have verified that the correct dev kit is installed and that all IIS certs are current and included. I have also rechecked all my services and they are also running correctly.
  4. We have users who are unable to launch SIMS Documentation from their SIMS home page. When they click to launch, an error message appears in the lower left stating, 'File not found' We use a farm setup through a RD Gateway Server. Is the connect.ini file incorrect in pointing to the DocStorage? Thanks in advance
  5. Has anyone had to update their SIMS Extractor after updating SIMS to v7.154? Same question as well for Parents Evening Booker(PEB). Thanks in advance. Cheers
  6. The last available SIMS install was Spring 2012. I'm unable to use this install as I have just built a new 2012R2 w/ SQL 2012SP1 When trying to use the 2012 installable, it wants to create and build a 2008r2 DB. This is going over so well with our development team. Should we continue with this install and then complete the SQL Migration Tool?
  7. Long time listener, first time caller. I've been working with SIMS and various CAPITA Modules since about late 2011 in Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands. I find that this site is far more supportive than CAPITA's own dedicated support portal. Keep it EDUgeek family. Cheers, Jeff
  8. Upon updating SIMS on our network(SQL Server and Terminal Server(Workstation)) we have verified the that v7.152 installed successfully along with the DB. I'm able to launch SIMS successfully w/o incident within the local network but upon trying my RDP access, i'm rec'ing the message that RDP isn't available b/c that PC doesn't exist. I would typically think that this would be FW related, but no changes have been implemented on our FW to kick back this message. Has anyone else experienced this same behavior after updating?
  9. SOLUS3 should also display the various version of SIMS that is available. Ensure you are selecting the most recent version. Incompatible DB is a result of the client not being up-to-date with the DB, not the other way around.
  10. SIMS is supported on 2012. Just completed an install this afternoon.
