Trying to adopt our Unifi CCTV cameras to a remote UDM Pro. Have been able to do this via ssh on our switches and APs but cant work out how to on our camera. Anyone done this?

We have found the controller software isn’t as reliable. We have one site on ac pros which have guest access and we also have some of the camera so the UDM pro was a no brainier for the cost

we recently bought a Unifi UDM Pro to manage our new fleet of unifi 48 port switches. All brand new. The UDM has been a problem since day one. We can set it up and configure it but when we adopt switches it will sometimes adopt them after an age or will just sit in an endless adopting/disconnecting loop. When we have been able to adopt the switches drop out and say adopting again. No reason for it. Switches are plugged directly into the UDM so not a cabling issue... Anyone have any suggestions? Unifi tried telling me the issue was that have EOL APs.... Not evening looking to manage those on this UDM as I know we cant.

Current trust has 4 schools running on Mosyle. Last school was full Apple all on Mosyle

We just brought a Jabra- very impressed. Works via Bluetooth or usb. Also bought a wide format HP web cam to sit on top of the 65" tvs we use in our conference/meeting rooms. All works very well!

We want to move all our sites onto one cloud key installation- we have a UDM Pro so will handle what we need. How can I add devices that dont show up on the regular adopt page? Can I add manually?

We have gone for this across our trust- all arrived this morning! Using the Azure integration instead of the MIS though. Have used a few different systems across other schools ive worked in and found this one very impressive for the price! We are using RFID tags that we got off ebay as we already use them for our photocopiers. Sent one away for them to test and they were able to confirm all would work.

Going through this now- now have network licensing manager working deploying Autodesk as an application in MDT. So many hoops you need to jump through with very lacking documentation and support. Free I suppose so shouldn't complain too much

Apple do have a buy back scheme- we have sold equipment back in the past via Sync/GBM

Im struggling to understand the new licensing model for Autodesk- we previous had the free site license but we now need to apply for per user? How are you deploying this now? Sorry if what I am asking is obvious but Autodesk support dont seem to know anything about their own products!

Good idea- happen on two different installs of MDT across my two sites so its a real hard one to resolve

We went with Biostore in the end- biggest issue was parentpay not responding to any contact but other than that very happy. Have Cunninghams at another site and not impressed- server has been wiped and rebuilt twice. Equipment isnt the best either!

nope only setting is in the customsettings.ini

We have 30 Hp Elitebooks that refuse to keep the name we set by MDT- every other machine we have, 1000+, do not have this issue. Once the build is complete the name is the machines serial number not the one specified in the task sequence. Has anyone seen this?

Has anyones iPads actually shown in ASM yet? Ive got 40 behind me that have not showed up yet.

We have now imaged and deployed all of ours- took some messing around but got there! MDT Offline media was the only thing that worked for us- im sure clonezilla another copy software would do the trick.

Nope- had to use offline media creator and do it all via USB

I changed the boot speed and boot order- once saved the laptop would only boot to a black screen!

they are awful- had the same. Official advice from Geo was to drain the battery as this resets the bios!
