Hello all and thank you in advance for your help!
We still have numerous carts of laptops in our elementary school. These carts contain 30 Windows 10 computers, which are often all off for days, and then suddenly all turned on at once. When a large update comes down the path, our SCCM will push that update to the majority of machines at once. As 30 laptops pull a large update from one access point, and then often restart, the class can lose a large amount of time waiting. And of course it often happens when time is critical (think mandatory state wide testing).
To prevent the issue, I have turned updates off for these mobile carts. I can bring them in one at a time every other month, but we have 20 carts like this. It could quickly become a full time job.
Does anyone have a better way to handle the updates without endangering large amounts of class time?
Thanks again!
