This man cannot help himself can he. EVERY time he opens his mouth he says something stupid. Even at school I though Of Mice And Men was a brillaint book and even more so today it is so deep tragic. Not read Mockingbird so cannot comment. My friend last night said to me 'why don't they read harry potter?' Bahahaha a aaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I went on for about a minute!

Ta will check that out. Edit: Bloody Wordpress set to GMT, not BST! All live as planned now. Cheers Ian.

So been using mine a while now. Tried different recipes. I accept that it does go 'off' quicker than shop bought as doesn't have preservatives in. However I find that it is hot and miss getting it to fully rise, or ending up with a massive hole in the top half!!! Taste is great (although it does need butter not oil otherwise find it very corse). It also breaks up very easy. Any tips? Or better yet exact recipes for soft yet strong (white) bread?

Update: I will begin publishing responses now. I will publish them as quickly as I can get through each response. Publications will be done based on when they were returned to me, so the superstars at ScholarPack who responded quickly and without much fuss will be first! Available tomorrow at 9am (Friday 23 May) will be @scholarpack This will be followed by SchoolPod, SchoolBase and Plus4Schools (a new entry!). --- Update @schoolpod will also be available, at 10am. ( @schoolpod I need a decent logo to use!)

There is a whole science to merchandising. Interesting if you to know how we are subconsciously conned!

Yer... I mean until this point. It seems to be overlooked or dismissed as a minor thing. It is a major improvement for all involved.
-
It's also pulling all those and more disparate siloed databases/collections together. We seem to keep missing this in our conversations.

I keep meaning to switch to Aldi full time. If nothing else to get away from Chav central that is Asda...

I totally agree it is a good step. God it is a nightmare with my little girl when shopping. My point was the over dramatisation of how this will cure obesity... just moving it will make such a small difference. How about better education on healthy eating. And eating chocolate is just a small part of the problem... as is obesity. How about chronic alcoholism, smoking, fast foods...

Be great to hear your thoughts. But... We on here cannot in any way influence the project. You have the opportunity to by getting involved with the dfe consultations. As I do. I mean this plainly but respectfully, instead of moaning and picking holes (rightly so if there are issues from a school perspective) in a forum that cannot make any difference... and so it is just moaning, get involved and moan to the people who can make changes. Also moan here too because this conversation is fascinating!

BBC News - Tesco to end checkout sweets in 'healthy choice' move It's a revolution... obesity is gone forever... we'll just move the sweets a little further away!

That's ok because I'll leave this morning... you can deal with the Dev discussions planned for this morning! -
I always did. I'm fact I had 2 one for training one for testing. I think SOLUS throws a bit of a fit but other than that...

The grant is for supporting the extended learning of the apprentice. It is definitely not supposed to be used to pay wages

EDIT 2014 - Nom Non Nom - Food Question!
GREED replied to Dos_Box's topic in General EduGeek News/Announcements
What... no board for the weekend too? What kind of host are you? -
I'm certainly not looking to make trouble, but you should have had some structured training and activities, not just left to work and them come see how you were getting on. Perhaps that was what your qualifications required, but from personal experience and passion, I would have wanted to give you plenty more training, in IT, as well as building life skills such as communications, customer care etc etc. A good example of how each training provider is different.

Well clearly, and so there is no excuse for DPA breaches in the future

The irony is it might be raining there when I go! It's the place as much as the weather as well as getting away. Shutting everything down for a week and doing nothing!
