  1. Bill Bailey is legendary although I doubt he'll come anywhere near to the hilarity that was Geroge Harrisons section of the show. I was also suprised at the musical skills of the cast except Noel of course who's just there to look pretty for the ladies.
  2. I took my little sister to see The Boosh in wolverhampton last night and it was absolute genius. I'm a big fan of The Mighty Boosh but they managed to surpass my expectations, its the funniest comedy show I've ever seen. Topped of with a set of thier most genius crimps performed live at the end of the show. If you've got tickets for this tour you are in for a treat Some people put way to much effort into creating costumes just to go see the boosh. Fair enough there are some die hard fans but those people had to walk through wolverhampton on a thursday night with huge pink tentacles attached to thier neck. On a slight downer the programmes for the show were £12 and nothing special about them to justify the large price tag. There were also some sort of goodie bags for sale but after seeing the extortionate pricing of the programmes I never even bothered.
  3. We've done this the past 2 years its a good way of getting rid of what would otherwise be junk. It also stops any kids using the excuse of not having a PC to work on at home as they are then given a free PC. However you should be prepared for the inevitable return visits after the parents or children break them within a week. Even if you clearly state "No Support" they know where you work. We've even had a complaint from one parent that they was expecting to have at least a P4. We also limit them to 1 per family
  4. You say you can't get the other user to show up at the login screen, could you not set the login window to Name and Password? This should let you type the credentials for an active directory authentication.

    Fallout 3

Its been my saviour on a few occasions, totally outgunned and outnumbered so I chuck grenades everywhere. Anyone else addicted to Jet? It sucks, I wish I'd never touched the stuff
  6. Anyone know of any printer monitoring software available for use on a mac network? All our printers are monitored through CC3 and as we've kept the macs away from RM we have no method of controlling the printing from this room.

Looks like I'll just have to go on a town wide rampage then. Just have to dispose of that troublesome sherrif and his meddling robot deputies. Has anyone taken the bloody mess perk yet? I've found the deaths to be pretty grisly as it is, can't imagine how bloody mess will compare.
  8. I've definatly had it working on my laptop and on my moms PC both are running XP. If you are purchasing the software I'd recommend getting Civ3 it's loads better and there was definatly a NOCD patch somewhere as I had it installed on my laptop for a while to play during lunch breaks.

Perhaps you should work on your agility stat a bit more or holster your weapon as that increases your speed. This is especially true if you are holding one of the Big guns. I think having a high level in big guns increases your movement speed when holding one. Anyone blow up Megaton? I've been playing as a good guy so I dissmantled the bomb kinda wish I'd blown it up now just to see it.
  10. I believe the version I had required the CD play even during a full install. I think the wonders of the world videos and music are always read from the CD. Probably a NOCD patch somewhere but then theres the legality issue. Have you got the play the world edition? it allows for multiplayer games on Civ 2

    Fallout 3

I'm not sure about a demo being available anywhere I'd imagine it would be quite hard to showcase the game with such a short section of the game. I'm sure that this weeks Gamer TV (I can't remember if thats what is still called but its the games show on bravo this sat (around noon I think)) has a big review of the game should give you a good idea of what its like. It plays unlike any game I've played before, the hybrid of first person shooter and RPG works so effecively. The V.A.T.S combat system adds a level of strategy to combat that gives you a real buzz when you defeat overwhelming force with inferior firepower but sly tactics. I'd say its a massive recomendation for anyone as there is so much to the game that you can't fail to find somethinig you love about it. It's easily the best PS3 game I've played to date.

    Fallout 3

I've lost a 3 day weekend and most of last night to this game, its AMAZING! Being a huge fan of the first two games I was unsure of just how the transistion onto a console would work. I was even more apprehensive knowing that the game was created by Bethesda studios who did a good job on Oblivion but it didn't immerse me in an alternative universe like good RPG should. Who's playing it? How far you got? Do you still raise a smile when you blow a raiders head clean off for the 1000th time?
  13. Work in Birmingham but live in Tamworth, I like to be able to visit brum bit don't wanna live there. Saying that has anyone visited Tamworth its pretty horrible at times
  14. Always been a geek but after years of apathy towards getting a career I decided it was time to do something a bit more productive with my life. I've been working as an IT Tech since the end of Nov and its amazed me that I can actually love going to work. My school is great on education too I'm being urged to get on any courses I want to. Working in IT is fantastic!
  15. Thats a nice touch I like that idea!
  16. My friend has this on the PS3 and showtime is our favourite thing about the whole game. On his first go he got 4 million and we couldn't get anywhere near it for ages then I found and awesome section where I racked up 9 million. If you find the right spot you can keep going towards infinity as long as you keep your concentration. I love it when every spots a coach in the distance and the front room go mental trying to direct you to the road it just turned down. I'm not a fan of the standard races though the fact that its too open means I end up getting completly lost.
  17. Even with the bar set that low I won't sleep at night till I've broke the 1700 barrier. It just seems insanely impossible
  18. Gloating over 2nd and 3rd place to me
  19. I think I'll use my first post to gloat 1st & 2nd place to me, on my first 2 attempts!
