Hi, I have an area working as a drop of area for students files, of which is working fine apart from because they can't see each others files in this area they often recive errors as they save files as the same name. For example they get set homework as 'questions.docx' Is there a way to make it so when they upload files to this area the file renames its self to 'Username_questions.docx' I see there is the random suffix generator for IOS - (Could I use this a temporary fix? or is it only available for IOS) Thank you, Adam

Anyone else encountering an issue when a user tried to "Open" a file on HAP rather than download the web page goes into a spasm of refreshing?

I had everything redirecting to https://hap.myschool.co.uk/HAP/login.aspx It worked on v8.7

I fixed that by disabling the redirect on my default web site.

Ok, That was strange. Its because I was testing with uploading and downloading a blank text file. It did not seem to like it. Put some text in it and it worked fine. Cheers.

Hi! When any user apart from an admin tries to download a file I get an error "Bad request" I presume I have messed up some file permissions? Any idea's? Cheers, Adam

After installing the update I get this when browsing to HAP : This web page has a redirect loop The web page at "Hap link here" has resulted in too many redirects. Clearing your cookies for this site or allowing third-party cookies may fix the problem. If not, it is possibly a server configuration issue and not a problem with your computer. I can't load hap at all with v9, I have tried both keeping app data and doing a fresh install but i can't seem to load HAP. The my restore to 8.7 still works though.

Is there a guide on how to update from v8 to v9 or should I just do a fresh install of HAP?

Perfect!!!!! (Is V9 out yet I can't find a upgrade for it but I keep seeing a new version is available every time i log on!)

When ever I remove anything like delete permissions I lose all options to upload and or edit files. Is there a work around I could use to keep these options available even if some of the commands did not function as they do not have correct permissions.

How do I enable this? EDIT: Unfortunately I can't get the Homework.aspx to function how I need it too, but thanks for the help I'll have another crack at the folder permissions. Cheers, Adam

Hi, I don't know if this is possible - I am trying to make a shared folder on HAP that works as a drop off point for files. I want it so students can only write to this area, not read, edit or delete files. I got it working to a certain degree within windows where a user could not see any files in a folder but he could write too it - There are a few issues with this though as they can still overwrite files and HAP dose not register them as having write permissions. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I think this is more of an issue with our network rather than HAP its self but here is my problem.... If I load HAP externally using hap.schoolname.co.uk it works fine. When I load it internally using hap.schoolname.co.uk I get varied results. :- 1. Sometimes (Rarely) the website will load fine and work 2. The website will load about half the page and the login will be non functional 3. and most frequently after about a 30 second delay I get a Zero Sized Reply error. (If I connect directly to the server internally it also works fine servername.schoolname.local/hap) Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you Adam
