  1. TechMonkey a 65" LCD interactive board (no inbuilt PC) weighs 88 Kgs excluding wall bracket. A 65" Clevertouch includes inbuilt speakers the sound is pretty good for a classroom imo. You can get a height adjustable wall mount with extension feet to spread the load on the wall via the floor. I would always recommend this type of install on a wall thats not load bearing to also have a timber patress or big rectangle of min10mm thick wood behind the screens wall mount and ensure that the fixings go into the walls batons or timber frame behind the rooms plasterboard or dry line.
  2. I have sold hundreds of SMARTBoards over the last 11yrs you do not require accredited installation services for compliance with SMART Technology's warranty. Damage caused to the board whilst you install it yourselves is a different matter, that is one benefit of a contractor to do the work as its their problem if it gets a dent during fitted. Remember to register your new 880 at activatemywarranty.co.uk As this will give you acess to Steljes support for five years on 0845 072 4999 plus onsite warranty for three years and RTB cover for the last 2 years of this five year warranty. Do keep a copy of your purchase invoice as proof of when you bought it along with the serial number of the board. Its always worth registering your board 1. To get a better warranty with Steljes. 2. It is better to know that the board you bought has actually come from Smart and their official UK supply chain. As some firms are selling SMARTBoards that have not been sourced via Steljes these are not covered by the onsite warranty Steljes and SMART provide and if it is a a non Steljes board its up to the importer to swap the board at their own cost they cant claim a UK board when it was originally shipped from SMART to Cyprus. There is a real possibility you may not be able to claim an repair or replacement board during the 5yrs you'd expected it to be covered. Hope this is of help.
  3. I've seen lots of schools use these types of lamps and with no less a quality. Use a good supplier such as Millgate as Luke say's they do a lot of these replacement lamp products. Best. Will
