Sadly that didnt work I did do a test on the line from the NIC and it said the cable is good, This is really getting on my boobs now -.-

Hi Steve, It was on auto detect but when i select auto-negotiate it just has a fit and doesn't connect.

Hi Guys. This is my first post on the forum so i hope you can help me get this problem sorted. We ordered 10 x HP DC770 refurbished from a company we have used before. They state on the NIC that it can run at 1gbps (also on the website). I replaced a laptop with one of the new systems but it will only run at 100mbps. I first thought it could of been a port problem so i left it and moved onto the next one. 5 PC's later they are all running at 100mbps. The laptops that they replaced all ran at 1gpbs. Iv even gone to our switches and plugged the PC's directly into them and still only getting 100mbps with cat 5e and cat 6. It will only stay on 1gbps for around 6 seconds then has a fit and changes back to 100mbps. i'm 100% sure the switches are 1gbps Drivers upto date.. What else can be the problem?
