Unfortunately if windows is not able to recognize the device backup exec will not be able to recognize and interact with it either. Take a look at the following blog on troubleshooting B.E. and Robotic libraries How to troubleshoot issues with Backup Exec and your Robotic Library(autoloader/changer) and /or Tape Drive(s) - Spiceworks

The Suggestion by Lenora should put you in good shape OakTech, but if for some reason youre unable to edit the selection list you may want to try recreating the job and creating an entirely new selection this way B.E. has no way to reference the new x64 box.
