can anyone clear cloud storage legal bits up for me school is looking at icloud with ipads and also maybe dropbox (staff storage) and some chromebooks with google drive (replacements for school netbooks) Are schools legally allowed to use cloud storage ive spoken to a few people and its seems very split and noone was 100% a couple didnt actually care and was using it anyway.

I am working at a School in Rochdale and one of the kids has used the CleverTouch screen as a punching bag and funny enough the Touch element doesnt work now. Does anyone know of a company I can contact to come out and take a look?

Ive just bought a HP N54L which was £99 after cashback so well worth it. I bumped another 8GB ram in it so i have a nice 10gb to start with. Only downside ive found is its AMD and im having to fudge it to get my Mountain Lion Server running so I can replicate my work environment. So I will have Windows Server 2008r2 and Mountain lion server. i might possibly add a server 2012 This server is silent i cant even here it on in my spareroom when working in there

thanks for very helpful replies one of the biggest problems we've come up with is that with supervised mode you cant connect to any other machine. we want teachers to backup their own photos from the ipads.

Good Morning Ive been tasked with our schools ipad rollout only at present noone seems to know what they want to use them for? Our school is not a mainstream school but a school for pupils with Special Educational Behavioural Difficulties. So getting them in class is a challenge most days. how do you guys setup your ipads? for instance are you bothered who you setup the ipad for? do you have seperate profiles for teacher and pupil? We have come across various issues we think could come up should some of our more savy notorious messers get on the ipad as a teacher. Do you lockdown icloud with apple stating this is for personal use only? If teachers taking pictures of pupils do you then allow them to take the ipad off site/home? Does anyone have basic do's or dont's for ipad use. We want to maximise the use of the ipads without the worry of what ifs. TIA Steve

We have impero in 3 of our schools and we had someone from impero out a couple of weeks ago who told us about version 4 but not heard from him since and hes not returned any of my calls. My question is do Impero do the upgrade or do they send you the files for you to do the upgrade. I am about to do staff training on this but I dont want to show them version 3 if we are moving to version 4.

i got my A+ a while back and work were ment to pay for my network+ and server+ but funding got pulled so never completed the set.
