I doubt anyone could low ball the bulk price.

I will have a large number of Epson EB-455Wi Ultra Short Throw projectors available over the summer holidays as we are upgrading. These will include the wall brackets and if I can find my spares box might be able to include some interactive pens. All will come out of working classrooms. Open of offers - been offered a bulk price from a referb / resell company but might be more cost effective to everyone if any schools wanted them direct. Might be able to include a couple of spare boxed lamps for bulk batches. Collection would be from west Birmingham sometime over the summer depending on my installers schedule to remove them.

I have just had the email and been able to order, 5 working day delivery apparently! We shall see.

I phoned the DfE COVID helpline to ask. I also asked what would happen if the number allocated wasn’t enough and answer was we believe it is based on national picture and to prioritise! I have heard nothing about the 4G access.

They are estimating the number of students in those groups that won’t already have a device based on national statistics and then assigning you that number.

We have just over 1500 pupils and about 140 pupils in year 10 who are disadvantaged, not including those with a focused worker. We have been offered 57 devices. I have completed step one but not had any contact yet to register for step 2.

We have recently started putting student photos on to their smart cards as students like to try and use each other’s. Most of our photographs in SIMS are provided by our photographer early in the year but there are always students off on the day and late starters. I was hoping there would be a way to have SIMS capture individual photo graphs from a webcam on a computer and then save it direct on the student profile but the only option it ever gives me is to select photo from file. Any one know if this is even possible?

Hi, I am looking for a new laptop for my parents but they don't want to spend much. The one they have is a 5 year old dell which was basic when they got it and I am now sick of rebuilding. The only use it for a bit of Internet browsing and the ovation all word and excel documents. Anyone got any suggestions of where to look? Cheers
