I have decided to have a SATA Hard Drive and a SATA DVD RW and use the IDE for the floppy drive.

Most MB today only have 1 ATA port. Can someone point me to a motherboard which support LGA775 and has mord than 1 ATA port. Looking to pay £30 to £40.

Can people explain the stuff like RAMDAC?

Well, I myself am a student but we are filtered by Herts Grid For Learning.

Found some pupils on Youtube today, thought they may have used a proxy but turns out they just went to Youtube's IP so 208.65.153.238 and it bypasses the proxy filtering. Just wanted to let you know so you could ban the IP just incase.

Hey all, I want to build a couple of computers and install Linux and run my own little network so I can practise. Now, I don't have the money to go out and buy all the stuff and was wondering if any of you guys will kindly give me old hardware you don't need. I need everything really: Motherboards RAM CPU Hard Drives Graphics Card Video Card Cases Optical Drives - CD, DVD etc Cables, IDE, Monitor etc Keyboard Mouse Monitor Networking Stuff. Hubs, Switches etc My Dad said he is willing to pick up from Rickmansworth, Bushey, Harrow and Watford. If possible I would like to pick up a few stuff when I collect not just one or two things. You will really be helping me in my studies, thanks.
