Add a ad group to the local power user group. Then add the user to the ad group for one day. That's what we do anyway.

Thanks guys but as i said i have reinstalled from the original Toshiba Restore disk! Hard wired to network and problem returns within 1 hour.

We have 40 odd Toshiba Sat Pro A200 laptops all doing very much the same thing. First the desktop icons dont display followed by the start menu and other icons disapearing. Some of the laptops have lost the ability to print or open mapped drives and some blue screen. We have tried eveything... We have a ghost image but the problem still returns after the rebuild and we have tried a rebuild of the Toshiba recovery disk but also the problem returns. Has anyone had this problem before or have any other suggestions.....

Thanks for your reply.. I have only been asking as we have been having great problems using Edexcels online testing software and we are thinking about taking on ASDAN to replace it. Does ASDAN require any install on our servers ?

Are you setting the backgroud using GPO we had problems doing this so I have created a VBS script that can change the desktop being showed per day e.g. Mon pic one and tue pic 2. It gets the images from the sysvol or any other network location you want. This then works no problems. If any one wants a copy of it let me know and ill post it up.

we had this before our internal domain name is not the same as our external but if we give users only a external smtp address then owa wont log in but if we give them internal as well things seem to work ok then. All very strange

What version on Ghost are you using?

We too use Sophos and see 5% - 10% errors Normaly just failed to update in time errors though.
