All sorted! It was the tick box for software rendering instead of graphics processing unit rending. Found the reg key and amended via group policy!

Thanks tech_guy I have spotted that option in advanced settings but do you know if this can be done via group policy?

Afternoon All! I've got an issue in IE 9 when users scroll down a page. While they scroll all the content on the page just about disappears - see here - When they release the scroll bar the page displays correctly again. Anyone else come across this before or any ideas on what it might be? Have checked graphics driver, IE settings etc. Thanks! Max

We have been working with the help desk on this problem - We have been given two different versions of Pulsar to try and so far so good. Still not 100% sure how close we are to having it working across site. For the time being with have unlinked our SIMS accounts so that people can use InTouch without problems.

No - They are still working on it... Have you got the same problem to?

Thanks Jon - That's really useful to know. Like us a restart of SIMS fixes it. We have also done a re-install of SIMS with no joy. Have you rasied the issue with Capita? They have told us that we are the only school that are reporting the issue. We didn't seem to have any problems before the Spring upgrade. Max

Morning All, Since the Spring release of SIMS and InTouch we have been having a big problem using InTouch in that every so often it will stop working and show a message about the Data Service being unavailable. Capita have been looking into this since March but don't seem to be getting anywhere... We are told that this is something to do with our SIMS users having integrated logons linked to their AD accounts. Is anyone else using InTouch with integrated logons and if so have you noticed any problems? Thanks, Max

Not sure about the redirecting stuff but we have, 'Hide and disable all items on the desktop' and 'Remove user folder link from Start Menu', set to Enabled - This works for us.

Thanks Glennda - They are & I use resource manager to control files in their 'My Documents', but this doesn't work on anything outside that - Presumably its saved in there roaming profile - it's that what I want to manage.

Hi All, I have an odd problem with exchange/outlook - If I was to put a name or group into the To box in an email and then ‘Check Names’, normally it would resolve the name or group without problems. But, when I ‘Check Names’ now it says it cannot recognise it, however it is there ok & will let me select it from the global address book manually. Outlook seems to be defaulting to the global address list ok, but this has recently started to happen for all users. Using Exchange 07 with Office 10 on XP machines. Has anyone come across this before? Any ideas? Thanks! Max
