Thats breaking Apples licensing though in schools, you need to buy the app 10 times.

Ive read that 1 apple id is limited to 10 devices, not tried it myself as yet though but sounds like its not an issue. (eg Your Apple ID is Limited to 10 Devices ) Is it worth getting in a Mac Mini then would you say to manage the ipads with configurator? Do you use the facilitator account to install the apps on the devices or a different 3rd one? Im not familiar with configurator so not sure if you have to put an apple id on each ipad or not?

j224 what do you do with respect to the 10 device limit on a single apple ID? Im wanted a single apple ID on 20 ipads in my school but not sure if it will be an issue? Im looking to get a mac mini I think and using the config utility, currently using Meraki

Hi Ive got 20 ipads in my school that all need the same apps on them, some requested are paid for apps. I have set up the VPP all well and good, but was wondering, as all the ipads in the school are going to be using the same Apple ID, is there anything stopping us (licensing or otherwise) buying an app once then putting it on all 20 ipads under the same apple id? If this is possible, legally too, then the cost of apps will be rock bottom? Rather than using the VPP and purchasing 20X app price Or have I missed something? Also how are you guys installing apps, do you have 1 account for the school or multiple accounts? Bit confused by it all if Im honest. Ive also setup Meraki and got it working fine, just struggling with what account to use where etc with credit card details attached to it too makes me a bit paranoid PS Been reading the site for years, first time posting but hopefully not the last!
