That's good you have managed to get a refund, from reading online I'm really surprised you managed to get that. So far I haven't come across any PVP, thankfully. Fair enough, I think a lot of players might take your stance and never play it again, as they have had a lot off issues during release and stuff
-
Just wondering if anyone else here plays ArcheAge, it's only just been released. But so far I am loving playing it and just wanted to know if anyone else played it, and if so what server you were on

I have 3 primary school servers, all 3 of them are a whole room. One has two servers in and all of the switches and stuff for the school in with nice air conditioning, and its perfect. Another one is just a room with a server and a mac mini in, and a small cab, and a filing cabinet and ladders :S The last one is a room that is also used as a storage room for the laptop trolleys and stuff, but it has 2 servers and all the school switches and nice benching and chairs for me to sit and relax

I agree, don't crash it. I had a 50cc Trial bike lookalike and I crashed that a few times. Made me scared to ever ride a bike again, but was some of the best times of my life on my bike with my mates. I think I still have my old bike trousers and jacket kicking around somewhere that I'm never gonna use if you want them

That's not to bad, I'm gonna get the game and the season pass for £25 What other games can you suggest, preferably games over a year old so they don't cost a fortune
-
How much did you pay for it? As soon as I get a decent computer that's on my list to buy
-
Okay, now that kinda makes sense, shall have to try and wait a year till I buy it then
-
But all things considered, I didn't even know that there were lan partys out there and stuff for the average gamer, and they sound really fun. So thankyou edugeekers for teaching me something awesome
-
Ye but I don't like waiting, and with the way games are now they will just release another dlc for about £30 as soon as I do that
-
Haha thanks, my favourite thing about it so far is that I have found a website that sells games for 50% off, so brought diablo 3 last night to play with a work colleague. But loving the fact that the new assassins creed unity is only £23 for pre order Now I just need to get rid of my bootcamped mac mini and get a decent computer
-
I've never been to a lan party before, but I've just converted to gaming on a PC instead of a console and so far I'm loving it, if anyone has any suggestions for games please let me know as I would love to know some games that aren't the mainstream games and already taken over by the hardcore gamers

Just tested and it crashes on any profile I try

Hi there I'm hoping someone can help, I use Office 365 at a school and we have just upgraded our licensing so we have office 2013, I updated the finance lady's computer from office 2007 to 2013, and outlook just got stuck on loading profile and wouldn't go any further. I tried everything I could think of, ran in safe mode, reinstalled office 2013, scanpst, recreated the profile, checked all updates where installed, ran the office 365 desktop setup, removed the profiles from the registry. Probably some more aswell but I forget now. None of that worked so I thought sod it I shall downgrade her back to 2007, and now outlook just crashes and says not responding when I try open it up, I have done all the same fixes I tried for outlook 2013 but nothing works. Am I doing something really stupidly wrong, or can someone help me please :) It's on a windows 7 32bit OS

I thought about that, but that requires getting county broadband to make some changes for me to make it work, which can be a bit of a hassle sometimes and I know that the teachers are going to use it for a week then just forget about it
-
We use office 365 instead of gmail for education unfortunatly or that would have been a good one I have come across this: LAN Messenger | Free Communications software downloads at SourceForge.net on my little hunt, what do you guys think?
-
Ye DHCP so that's a no no unfortunately and as elsiegee40 said, skype they can talk to anyone and do anything with it
-
Main reason I don't want to use skype is security reasons tbh, would rather keep everything in house. Also I don't want to have to tell every teacher how to create a skype account and then how to use skype. They do have phones every classroom, except year 2, however the teachers complain about getting disturbed with phone calls during there lesson, hence the reason for needing a messaging thingy.

So before I start googling away looking for the right piece of software thought to myself I know a bunch of people who would have hundreds of ideas. So help me edugeekers The head at one of the primary schools has asked me to find something that they can message teachers and it pops up on there laptop for them to read. Yes I know what your saying EMAILS!! The ones who work in primary schools will most likely know that majority of the teachers deny any knowledge of school email system even if you shove it infront of there face! So I was thinking of something like msn, but for on the intranet, I ended up causing havoc for the IT guys at high school when I did this during my ICT lessons, but for the life of me I can't remember what it was called. I'm hoping you guys know of some decent software that is hopefully free and easy to setup and more importantly teacher proof!! Thanks

Thanks for all the comments. Governors approved the new server so now just have to wait for it to get ordered and I shall give it a go, once again you guys on edugeek have been an awesome help :) THANK YOU

It's probably a really simple question, but I've never set up a server before so I'm kinda new to this, but I am getting a new server at one of my primary schools soon and I was wondering if when you migrate the old server to the new one: What does it actually migrate/copy across If I were to do this does it stop your old server from working and make the network look to your migrated server straight away or can I not have it do that until I'm completely ready. Thanks

Easiest way I find is to just add the drivers into WDS and it just installs them when it installs the OS

Does Casper Suite have the capabilities to access windows home shares from the iPads??
