Thanks for the replys, I assume when you say Microsoft Office you mean Word, Publisher and Powerpoint? Also this Scratch and Paint.net, is this free software?

What are your top 5 Windows software/applications that you use in your school? I am asking so whichever software comes up the most I can either look into learning it or if I have knowledge on it I can improve. Also for this I would like to know the top 5 that the children/students use and not the teachers.

I am not sure I just happen to see it posted on this kids wall while I was looking around Facebook one day. In the status was something along the lines of "someone do my homework on mymaths" followed by all his usernames and passwords for the site.

Your be very surprised what passwords people will share these days............A few months back I was looking around Facebook and this one kid had his wall open and on it was his MyMaths school passwords. He posted them in a status to get people to log into his account and do his home work for him.

Sometime in the future I plan to do some sort of I.T work for a school but last night I was wondering how much schools have changed over the years. It has been almost 16 years since I even set foot inside a school so I thought i'd ask you all the following question. What would be a typical day at your school? I assume there are still assemblies in the mornings, what sort of stuff goes on in them these days? When I was at school we used to have to sing and I hated it, I think that was the worse part of the day for me. Also how are the days worked out like lesson wise? If I can remember correctly we had 5 1 hour lessons each day with a break in the morning and a 45 minute lunch. Lets see what your days are like, you don't have to go into too much detail but it would be nice to hear what school days are like nowadays

I have installed Firefox 10 on my PC but I don't expect i'l use it, I have been using Chrome for over 12 months now and find it's the best. I also have IE9 but that don't get used.

Hello I am new here and I am from the UK. I have been studying satellite communications and encryption since 1996 to the present time and have knowledge of networking, FTP, and Telnet/SSH, Linux and Windows. I am looking to work in schools soon if possible but not really sure where Hope to see some of you around the forum sometime.
