We have just completed the installation of Windows 10 across our school network with reasonable success. However there are a few remaining niggles to sort out with the main one being a problem with downloads when using a Chromium based browser (Chrome or Edge in our case). Downloading a file from anywhere looks like its downloading ie. the icon and progress show at the bottom of the browser, a filename appears in the users downloads folder but then there is a pause before showing Failed - insufficient permissions - The file then disappears from the users downloads folder. Users cannot save to any location even a USB drive. It works fine as an administrator. Internet Explorer also downloads files correctly. The user can create, modify, delete files etc in the downloads folder without issue. The users folders are redirected via Group Policy.
Tried removing all the policies and still get the same issue.
We are in an Azure hybrid joined domain and we are using Microsoft Endpoint Manager and Windows 10 Pro Edu.
Any help appreciated.
